Kaligo (Ka-lee-go) was formed about 4 years ago in the summer of 2000. Hailing from Kent/Akron Ohio, the band quickly formed and began playing show though out the Ohio areas. The band quickly gained much respect for their high energy shows and song writing in the metal scenes in Cleveland, Kent, Akron, etc. Many shows ,tours and a few member changes the band is stronger then ever and has moved onto touring independently though the east coast and Midwest.

Gaining even more respect from bands like Mushroomhead (Universal), they were asked to come into producer Steve Felton, a.k.a. Skinny of Mushroomhead, home studio and track songs with him. The band and Skinny tracked three songs but both felt were not really capturing the real Kaligo. So in winter of 2004 they decided to head back into the studio with producer/engineer Justin Harvey (Los Angeles, CA) to final finish a new E.P. The CD is due to come out late February.

Kaligo is Best known for their stage shows and high energy, adding an strong element to the metal scene. With such a wide variety of influences and styles the band creates a melting pot of metal, always delivering 110% @ each and every show.

Kaligo continues to tour as many places and cities as possible blowing people away with their stage presence and unbelievable sound. Kaligo's live performance is most definitely a show to not be missed.
